Okiayu Ryoutarou was a seiyuu born in Fukuoka, Japan, currently affiliated with Aoni Production. He is most known for the roles of Hisashi Mitsui (Slam Dunk), Nueno Meisuke(Jigoku Sensei Nuubei), Tezuka Kunimitsu(The Prince of Tennis), Kuchiki Byakuya (Bleach), and Kevin Mask (Kinnikuman Nisei). As of October 13, 2006 and according to the Anime News Network, Ryotaro Okiayu has 181 voice works-to-date credited to his name.

He appeared in 3 animes in a row on the Saturday 6 p.m. timeslot on MBS and TBS, starting from Gundam Seed (GS, FMA, GSD). Interestingly, his character in GS (Andrew Waltfeld) was meant to be killed off. But the director kept the character as he's one of the few "cool adults" remaining. Andrew went on to play a significant role in GSD. Another coincidence here is that both Scar (Ryotaro's character in FMA) and Andrew were well-known for their scars.
